Paper flowers - Gladiolus. Gladioli made of corrugated paper

This elegant work was invented by Italian origamist Nilva Fina Pillan. She lives in the Italian town of Vicenza,

where he works as a graphic designer - making bouquets and folding elegant gift boxes.

Flowers are her favorite theme in origami. Nilva is the author of three colorful books published by La Casa Verde.

All of them are dedicated to folding flowers.

1.Fold into a basic “double square” shape. Fold the top right and left sides towards the center diagonal.

2. Bend the outlined triangles inside the figure.

3.Check the result and turn the figure over.

4.Fold the left and right bottom sides towards the central vertical.

5. Bend the outlined triangles inside the figure.

6. Bend the triangles at the bottom of the figure (they are now visible) towards you along the lines running close to the side edges of the figure, and turn it over.

7.When bending triangles, only the top layer of paper is captured!

8.Check the result and turn the figure over.

9.Fold along all the indicated lines at the same time. At the same time, the upper petal bends forward, and both halves of the lower base bend simultaneously backward.

10.Check the result and open the three upper petals slightly.

11.Make three or four of these flowers.

12.To fold the sheet, you need to take a square two to three times larger than what was needed to work on the flower.
Cut it in half and fold the half along the middle line.

13.Cut a triangle from the middle and bend its sides towards the central vertical.

14.Fold the triangles protruding at the bottom back, and then bend the corners towards the center line.

15.Fold lines do not reach the top.

For executiongladioli we will need:

  • corrugated paper of two colors: the main color for making petals and green (grass) for making leaves;
  • newspaper sheets;
  • PVA glue;
  • hot glue gun;
  • threads,
  • scissors,
  • a knitting needle about 3-4 mm thick.

Making unopened gladiolus buds.

Since the gladiolus inflorescence has a longitudinal shape, it is necessary to make buds gradually - from completely unblown to full-fledged flowers. At the first stage we will make unopened buds. To do this, you need to take a strip of green corrugated paper about 1 cm wide and about 7 cm long.

We twist the strip in half in the middle (like a candy wrapper).

We bend both halves of the workpiece.

Fold in half.

Flatten the workpiece a little at the end to sharpen it.

We tie it with thread at the base.

The unopened bud is ready. You can make 1-2 more of these. (but a little larger).

Making slightly blossomed buds.

These buds will differ from the previous ones with a slightly peeking inflorescence. We take two stripes: main and green colors. Width - about 1 cm, length - 7-8 cm.

We twist them together in the middle so that the white paper is at the bottom.

Fold it in half so that the white paper peeks out slightly from underneath the green one.

The bud is ready. You need 2-3 pieces of such blanks.

Making opening buds.

An even larger opening can be done using the previous technique, but it is better to do it this way (so that the anatomy of the flower is observed as clearly as possible). First you need to prepare green strips 1 cm wide and 6 cm long.

We sharpen the blanks at one end.

Then we stretch it a little at the top, making a depression.

We form a bud from a white strip: twist, stretch each half in the upper part, forming a depression, fold in half, put a small piece of paper inside for volume.

We cover the white bud with green blanks and tie them at the base with thread. The bud is ready.

Making half-bloomed flowers.

For flowers, you need blanks in the form of strips about 2.5-3 cm wide and 6 cm long.

We randomly cut out petals from them.

We stretch the paper along the edge.

We twist the first petal into a tube, the second - around the first.

Cover with green sepals and tie.

You also need several such blanks, and the first ones will consist of two petals, and the subsequent ones - of 3-4, so that the bud is larger. The last two half-opened buds need to be slightly bent so that they look in different directions.

Making blooming gladiolus flowers.

For flowers, we need petal blanks of the same sizes that were used in the previous paragraph. Cut out 6 petals.

We stretch each petal along the edge.

We stretch and bend at the top, forming a depression.

We make “scars” along the edges by bending the edge of the petal slightly back.

We make 6 blanks.

We begin to assemble the flower, first tying together two petals.

We tie the third petal opposite the first two.

Behind the first three petals we attach two more (on the sides).

We tie the last petal behind, opposite the first (bottom).

The flower is ready. You need 8 such blanks.

We collect the inflorescence.

First, let's lay out the inflorescence so that it is convenient to collect it.

We make 2 tubes from a strip of newspaper, winding them on a knitting needle and gluing them with PVA glue.

From two tubes we make one long one. At the end of the tube we place the first, smallest, unopened bud.

We cut off a long strip of green color - we will wrap it around the flower stalk.

We attach the second bud a little lower and to the side, wrapping its stalk with a strip.

Half of the buds are already bandaged.

Attaching everything else

We attach longer leaves at the bottom.

- This is a practical and original option for home decoration. Gladiolus made of paper will fit perfectly into the interior of any style. A composition of such flowers looks quite unusual and stylish.

Making a gladiolus with your own hands is very simple, and today’s step-by-step photo tutorial will help you. It will take you no more than 10 minutes to create one flower branch.

Tools and materials:

- scissors;
- light green crepe paper;
- red corrugated paper;
- glue stick;
- thin wire for the base of the stem.

How to make paper flowers?

To make paper flowers, first create small unopened gladiolus buds, which will be located at the top of the peduncle. Cut a wide strip of red corrugated paper. Fold it in half and carefully twist it in the center of the strip. You will get a bow like this.

Then we give the petals a convex shape and cut off the corners. Next, we connect the side parts of the workpiece.

Now you need to make green petals. To do this, take a piece of green crepe paper, fold it in half and twist the piece in the center.

Place a red bud inside the green blank and fix its lower part.

You need to prepare three such buds and one small one.

To create one gladiolus flower you will need four large petals. Cut out the required number of blanks.

Next, each petal needs to be given a natural shape by stretching it in the center.

We collect four petals together. We twist the lower part of the flower thoroughly.

We wrap the wire with green crepe paper.

Then we begin to attach the buds to the peduncle. We wrap crepe tape around the stem, gradually adding buds. First we attach the smallest, and then the largest flowers.

We cut out straight leaves from green paper and glue them to the bottom of the peduncle.

That's all, the paper gladioli flowers are ready.

Make a bouquet of gladioli branches of different shades and place them in a tall decorative vase. Such paper flowers will delight you with their spectacular beauty for a long time.

Gladioli made of crepe paper. DIY autumn flowers

Purpose: Such flowers can decorate the interior of a kindergarten, a natural corner, or you can use Sweet Design and make a branch of gladioli with candies in the middle.

Dear friends and colleagues, today we will make a bouquet of beautiful gladioli. In the end we will get such a wonderful bouquet

It is difficult to find beautiful poems about this flower, usually everyone has roses, cornflowers or forget-me-nots on their lips, but I rummaged through the depths of the Internet and found beautiful poems, the author is unknown.

Sticking a flowering spike into the sky,

Blooms at the junction of summer and autumn

Handsome noble - gladiolus,

It's like he's singing an autumn song.

In bloom he is - well, exactly, an emperor:

Looking at everyone with a proud posture,

He enters autumn like a triumphant

To the feast of the last royal pleasures.

At the same time, it is a flower to behold:

The whole peduncle is like a long life path.

He's changing from denial to denial

The essence of wisdom is visibly revealed to us.

Here at the top are the baby buds,

Below them are children in shirts,

And in the center - the very color dresses up tunics,

And the lower tier - it’s time for old age...

And this flower reminds me of September 1st, my childhood, how I went to school with such a bouquet. So gladioli are autumn flowers and so we begin.

Material for work:

1. Crepe paper (lilac, pink, yellow, red, orange, green)

2. scissors

3. twigs or skewers

4. wire

Take yellow paper and cut rectangles for petals 5 by 10

Cut out the petal

Using closed scissors, we give the petal a wave, sharply bending it away from us

Crepe paper is excellent to work with; we use our fingers along the edge of the petal to make movements back and forth and form a wavy edge

We cut strips 2 by 10 for buds in the amount of 10 pieces per branch of the same color

We take one and twist it in the middle

Now we carefully bend the bud with our fingers, the paper allows this

You can make almost any flowers from corrugated paper, including gladioli with your own hands. The main thing is to show maximum accuracy and patience in your work - then everything will certainly work out. This master class will include step-by-step photos and instructions.

What you need to make gladioli from corrugated paper:

- corrugated paper in two colors: for leaves and petals;
- scissors,
- threads,
- PVA glue,
- bamboo stick,
- newspaper.

Step 1. Making unopened buds.

So, if you look at the anatomy of the gladiolus, it will become clear that at the top of the inflorescence there are unopened buds. This is where we’ll start making gladiolus.

Take a small strip of green paper. Length - about 6 cm, width - 1 cm.

Twist the strip in the middle.

We slightly bend both halves from the inside.

Fold in half.

Slightly flatten the tip of the bud to make it pointed.

At the base we tighten the bud with thread.

About 4-5 such unopened buds are needed.

Step 2. We make slightly opened buds.

This type of bud differs from the previous one in slightly visible colors, and to make it you will need both corrugated paper.

We cut strips of green paper, sharpening one edge.

Make a bulge at the top of the petal.

To make it, take a yellow strip and twist it in the middle.

We make convexities, slightly stretching both halves in width.

Fold in half.

We cover the yellow flower bud with green petals.

We sharpen the bud slightly and rewind it at the base with thread.

This is what the blanks look like.

Step 3. We make slightly opened flowers.

These flowers are reflections of the most detailed process of blooming of a gladiolus flower. For such a bud you need a blank in the form of a petal.

We stretch it along the edge.

We twist it.

We cover it with petals and tie it at the base with thread.

We make further buds using the same principle, but add two or three petals for volume.

This bud already has three twisted petals.

Step 4. Making blooming gladiolus flowers.

For flowers we need 6 pieces of petals.

We stretch each petal along the edge.

We stretch the center a little and bend it into a spoon shape.

We turn the side edges slightly back so that they curl slightly.

This is what the petal blanks look like.

We collect a flower. First we tie two petals together.

We attach the third petal opposite the place of their connection.

And at the end we attach the petal from below in the center of the junction of the first two petals.

You need 6-8 of these flowers.

Step 5. We prepare the stem.

We make the blank from a strip of newspaper.

We wind it on a bamboo stick, glue it, and dry it.

Step 6. Collecting gladiolus flower.

We lay out the blanks in the order in which they will be attached to the stem.

Cut out a strip of green paper approximately 1 cm wide.

We begin to collect the inflorescence. We attach the first unopened bud to the upper edge of the stem. We wrap it with a strip of green paper. We will wrap it around the stem like a bandage.

We attach three more buds, lowering each one slightly lower than the previous opposite one. The buds can first be glued to the stem, and then wrapped with a strip.

Half-opened buds are used.

And finally, we attach the remaining buds and flowers.

The inflorescence is collected.

Step 7 Cut out and attach the leaves.

We cut out the leaves very simply: take a strip about 4 cm wide and cut it from the bottom and top so that the tip becomes pointed.

We attach the leaves to the stem using PVA glue.

Reverse side of the flower.

The gladiolus flower is ready.
