Kamensk-Ural Pedagogical College is one of the oldest educational institutions in the city.
Founded in 1974 as a branch of the Sverdlovsk Musical Pedagogical School No. 2.
In 1980, the Kamensk-Uralsky branch of the Sverdlovsk Music College received the status of an independent educational institution - the “Kamensk-Uralsk Musical Pedagogical School”, which trained music teachers and music directors for educational institutions of the city and region.
On September 1, 1984, a department for training primary school teachers was opened at the school.
In 1995, the school received the status of a pedagogical college - an educational institution that implements educational programs of secondary vocational education according to extended training curricula, providing an increased level of qualifications. This made it possible to open new specialties: “Foreign Language”, “Russian Language and Literature”, “Mathematics”.
Over 35 years, the college has graduated 2,345 specialists:
