Mushroom places in Belarus. How dry spring and hot summer will affect the yield of mushrooms Mushroom places in Mogilevskaya

Lovers of collecting forest gifts this year have one more reason to rejoice: the mushroom season has started ahead of time. One problem - the weather let us down. Due to abnormal heat, forests are closed to visitors in 82 regions of the country. And in those regions where barriers are raised, there are few mushrooms. The R correspondent found out where and what mushrooms can be found in the forests this summer.

First of all, I decide to find out what the mushroom pickers themselves say about the yield this year. I'm going to the Zhdanovichi market. Here you can learn about the situation in different areas, since sellers from different regions of the country bring their goods here. Most lure buyers with strawberries. There are few mushrooms. First, it's not peak season yet. Secondly, drought and heat greatly affected the mycelium. Chanterelles predominate on the shelves. They are brought from Osipovichi, Myadel, Pukhovichi and Kalinkovichi districts.

- Yesterday a woman was selling a glass of young mushrooms. Collected near Minsk. For 700 grams she asked for about 20 rubles. There will be few mushrooms this year, so the prices are so far- Mikhail, who sells chanterelles, explained the pricing policy.

Andrei Shibeko, chief forester of the Molodechno forestry, agrees that the situation with mushrooms is tense this year: “We don’t have mushrooms, not even chanterelles. And the forecasts are disappointing. The forests in our area are still open to the public, but if the dry weather lasts a few more days, then a ban will have to be introduced. Mushrooms were better last year. At this time, people were already picking chanterelles, boletus and aspen mushrooms.

What do the scientists say? The Forest Institute of the Academy of Sciences has been engaged in predicting the yield of mushrooms and berries since 2006. Tatyana Moiseeva, Researcher, Sector of Food and Medicinal Forest Resources what to expect from this year:

We regularly analyze the situation. According to Belhydromet, the weather forecast for today is disappointing. A significant replenishment of soil moisture reserves is not expected in the near future; its deficit will continue. Under such conditions, there is no need to talk about a high yield of mushrooms. This year the situation is worse than last year. Especially in the south-east of the country and in the Minsk region. The best situation is in the Vitebsk region. Heavy rains can change the situation. Thanks to them, mushroom pickers in the Vitebsk region, and possibly Grodno region, will be able to find porcini mushrooms, chanterelles, birch boletus, boletus and some other edible mushrooms in the forests closer to August. But lovers of quiet hunting in the Gomel, Brest, Mogilev and Minsk regions, where an extremely unfavorable situation has developed due to the drying up of the topsoil, were not very lucky. Even if there is rainfall in summer, the yield of edible mushroom species is unlikely to be average there. Is it only by autumn that honey mushrooms can go to damp dense forests.

- Last year, as well as this one, was quite dry,- looks at the data for 2018 Tatyana Moiseeva. - Due to the lack of soil moisture, there were practically no mushrooms anywhere in the summer. They appeared at the end of summer, when short-term rains began. A long warm autumn favored, first of all, the productivity of autumn species in the southern regions. Honey mushrooms, rows, greens, greens, milk mushrooms, and podgruzdki fruited abundantly.

After each rain full of hope mushroom pickers rush to the forest, many return with a good "catch".

The yield also depends on the type of mushroom. Lamellar - russula, chanterelles, milk mushrooms, podgruzdki, volnushki - more easily tolerate moisture deficiency. Tubular - mushrooms, boletus, boletus, mossiness mushrooms - moisture is needed to a greater extent.

With changes in humidity and temperature, the places where fungi appear can also change. During drought, fruiting bodies are more often found in lowlands, closer to swamps, where there is more moisture, and in rainy years - on the slopes of ravines and hills. However, always best places for them - groves, pine forests and mixed forests. Real mushroom oases are rare spruce forests.

Fresh and dried, salted and marinated. Soups and broths, roasts and sauces, pies and salads... Those who love quiet hunting cannot resist! After each rain, full of hope, they rush with baskets into the thicket. However, it is not difficult for an inexperienced mushroom picker to confuse edible species with inedible ones, warns Tatyana Moiseeva. Most poisonous mushrooms in our forests - pale grebes. The fourth part of the cap of this mushroom is enough for a fatal outcome. In addition, the poison of these mushrooms is not destroyed when they are boiled.

In the heat, even the rare mushrooms that have appeared are mostly wormy. This is especially affected by butterflies, porcini mushrooms, boletus, boletus, mushrooms. But milk mushrooms, podgruzdki and volnushki worms are not so to their taste. Chanterelles are especially resistant in this respect.

Although yield forecasts are not yet encouraging, fans of quiet hunting should not despair. Most mushrooms - about 86 percent of the annual harvest - usually occur from the second decade of August until frost.

Most likely, the yield of the current year will be high. It has been noted that the most mushrooms are usually found in the Vitebsk and Minsk regions. We present to your attention a few places where you won’t leave without a basket of mushrooms.

Mushrooms near Minsk

Avid hunters often choose long-distance routes. After all, it is believed that the further you go, the more mushrooms you will collect. In fact, you don't need to travel very far. There are no less mushrooms in the Minsk forests than in other forests of Belarus.

Map of mushroom places

Logoyshchyna

Everywhere, various mushrooms are accepted by harvesters: boletus, boletus, mushrooms, fly mushrooms, boletus mushrooms, honey mushrooms, russula, chickens. But the most commercial mushrooms are chanterelles. Thanks to this, an amateur mushroom picker who knows the area can earn very good money in a season.

If you have a personal car, then the most correct decision would be to go to the forests, which are located in the Vitebsk direction along the highway (from Logoysk to the village of Pleschenitsy). There are a lot of mushrooms there. It is best to go to such villages as Molodi (located at the 9th kilometer), Mostishche, Aleshniki (at the 12th kilometer), Krokva (at the 19th kilometer), Pogrebishche, Takovshchina (at the 21st kilometer).

If you do not have your own transport, then, if necessary, you can use public transport. There is no train service to these places. The only way to get there is by bus, which runs infrequently. The most popular route is the bus route Logoisk-Ugly-Shvaby (to Zembin). But in the high season there are sometimes not enough places in it.

This place near Minsk can be called one of the most mushroomy. A continuous huge forest between Logoysk, Pleschenitsy and Zembin stretches for many tens of kilometers. These forests are located in such a way that you can find mushrooms of various types in them.

Vileika region. Ilya village

Boletus boletus, common chanterelle ... The car route will be more comfortable. We go to the village of Ilya from Minsk, focusing on the recreation center "Economist" (from the EE "BSEU"). Here are the most mushroom places. You may not even get to the Economist, because the forest in these places is very large.

columns

In Stolbtsy, mushroom pickers will find many noble specimens of mushrooms (chanterelles, mushrooms, boletus, boletus, autumn mushrooms). A reference point for the places of their accumulation can be called a camp site called "Vysokiy Bereg". You can get here by personal transport, and by bus, and by train. By car, you will have to drive along the highway towards Brest, turning in Stolbtsy towards the village of Nikolayevshchina. Buses and trains run in the Brest direction from Minsk. Stolbtsovshchina pleases the eye with picturesque nature. In addition, it is the birthplace of Yakub Kolas.

Talc

This mushroom route is more suitable for those who like to walk, as it can take 5-20 kilometers. Mushroom pickers must be prepared physically and spiritually for such a road. On a commuter train from Minsk, you need to get to the Talka station, in the direction of the train go through the village, go through a small field, go into the forest, go past summer cottages, a large field, follow the river to a small bridge, cross it to the other side, go into forest ... And you can start picking mushrooms.

Not sure - do not put the mushroom in the basket

Of course, you only need to eat mushrooms that you know well. IN otherwise- it will cost more. Scared to go alone and accidentally cut off a toadstool? There is a way out - "quiet hunting". Minsk hosts in Belarus, which are located in picturesque forests. There are a lot of mushrooms there. In advance, the owner of the house negotiates with you the time and becomes a companion in the difficult task of picking mushrooms. After long walks through the forest, in addition, you will have the opportunity to relax in the estate: soak up the bath, enjoy delicious kebabs cooking fresh mushroom soup.

If you go into the forest alone, take everything you need with you so you don't get lost: mobile phone, compass, matches, knife, something for a snack. Be sure to let your friends and family know how much and where you went. This will make it possible, in case of your failure to return at the appointed time, to begin the search.

Mushroom dishes are very tasty, but they are heavy. So, for example, young mushrooms are much healthier than onions and carrots. In dried form, they will be more high-calorie than eggs and boiled sausage. But children under the age of seven years are not recommended to give mushrooms categorically. This is because in their body there is an enzyme that breaks down mushroom protein. Naturally, everyone decides for himself whether to look for his favorite mushrooms in the thickets or buy champignons in supermarkets ... The choice is yours.

Where and when to pick mushrooms in the suburbs?

Everyone knows that mushrooms grow well in warm, humid weather, especially if it is July or August. Most mushroom pickers can be found in mixed and spruce forests, birch groves and pine forests.

Hat mushrooms, among which there are many edible ones, usually have a developed mycelium under several tree species at once. In the forests near Moscow, mycorrhiza (“mushroom root”) often appears near pines, spruces, birches, oaks and aspens. Less commonly under larches, poplars, alder and mountain ash.

For some edible mushrooms, the organic matter of decaying wood or forest floor made of leaves and needles is more important. Many mushrooms are famous for this.

There are edible mushrooms that feel great in seemingly completely inappropriate places. For example, on the burned areas and bonfires, you can see a growing morel tall.

There are more mushrooms on the edges of the forest, along forest roads, clearings, on lawns, etc. But dense thickets and too high herbage are considered less suitable places for picking mushrooms.

The first (spring) mushrooms are morels and stitches. June - August - the time of the appearance of the bulk of edible mushrooms. The growth of many edible mushrooms is inhibited or ends with the onset of autumn frosts. Although some of them can be collected even with a serious drop in air temperature in late autumn. For example, winter honey agaric. Towards the end, before the start of winter, little-known edible mushrooms continue to appear, such as oil collibia and purple rowing.

How to pick mushrooms in the suburbs - safety rules

The basic safety rules that should be observed when going to the forest for mushrooms or berries are simple, the main thing is to follow them. The forests of the Moscow region, of course, are not taiga, but you can get lost in them, so do not neglect the safety rules when picking mushrooms and you are guaranteed the pleasure of quiet hunting in the Moscow region:

1. You should not go into the forest alone. Having gathered in the forest, it is necessary to warn relatives and friends about the route and time of stay in the forest.

2. Rescuers recommend topping up your cell phone balance and checking the battery charge before going mushroom picking. Take along a compass, matches, a knife, a small supply of water and food. Those who constantly use medicines, and this primarily concerns the elderly, need to have medicines with them.

3. Clothing should be bright. Camouflage in the forest can be invisible from three meters. It is good if there are reflective stickers on the clothes.

4. Enter the forest only during daylight hours. Remember the route of movement, pay attention to fallen trees, streams, clearings that will help you navigate in the forest.

5. If you still get lost, do not panic, stop and think about where you came from, if you hear screams, the noise of cars, barking dogs. If possible, climb a tall tree and look around.

6. Try to find a clearing or road and move along it. It should be remembered that any road will sooner or later lead you to the settlement.

7. If you couldn't find your way and the night caught you in the forest, don't worry. Find a suitable place to stay overnight. It is not recommended to move in the dark, you can get injured by stumbling or falling into the water.

8. A lodging place is chosen high and dry, preferably near a large tree. Prepare brushwood for a fire, make bedding from spruce branches. It is best to sit with your back to a tree, light a fire in front of you and keep it up all night.

9. More than once, a cell phone helped to establish the location of the lost mushroom pickers. To ask for help, you need to dial the number 112 and explain the location, orienting yourself by the quarter pillar, which is a kind of forest marker. Rescuers can be called from a mobile even without a SIM card or if you are on the territory of a “foreign operator” of cellular communications.
