Dear earthlings! The process of rebirth of your planet into the New Earth continues and enters an active stage.

This process, as you are well informed, will bring to the Earth the opportunity to move into life in higher dimensions and to accept the life of all the kingdoms of Nature into this new state. Planetary changes come step by step, which you need to correctly understand and accept. Everyone says: the earth, but everyone sees and understands his own. For an astronaut, she is a planet. For a sailor, a shore. For a soldier, she is the image of the Motherland. For the cultivator, the land is something in which he puts sweat and love and waits for the gift of grain.

So what is it, Earth? Earth is the planet of people

The human planet is in danger! This is not a hysterical cry, not an explosion of emotions, not an attempt to dramatize the situation. Behind these words lies the bitter truth. We are used to believing that nature is omnipotent, while forgetting that it is vulnerable and fragile.

Mankind does not take, but almost - takes tens of billions of tons of substances and materials from nature every year, returning to it at least 20 billion tons of organic waste. The vegetation cover of the planet is no longer able to recycle CO 2 released during fuel combustion, moreover, forests are disappearing at a tremendous rate.

Every year, the planet irretrievably loses dozens of species of animals and plants.

The Red Book swells with more and more new names, bringing ecological catastrophe into it to the sounds of mourning marches. Polluted and become lifeless reservoirs, soil fertility is depleted, flora and fauna are depleted, the air of cities and towns is far from sanitary standards.

That is why speaking today from ecology means speaking not only about changing nature, but about saving lives.<Приложение1>

The city owes its appearance to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant built here.

The average age of the inhabitants of the young city was 26 years. More than a thousand children were born here every year. Only in Pripyat it was possible to see a parade of strollers, when in the evening moms and dads walked with their kids. According to the general plan, there should have been up to eight thousand inhabitants in Pripyat. Polessky atomograd was supposed to become one of the most beautiful cities in Ukraine.

Teacher Who could have thought the day before the catastrophe that nuclear death hung over this blooming land? What will fall on Ukraine and Belarus, many regions of Russia, a disaster that will make the entire civilized world shudder?

Exactly one month before the accident, on March 27, 1986, an article by L. Kovalevskaya “Not a Private Matter” appeared in the newspaper Literaturnaya Ukraina.

She wrote about the construction of the fifth block, the construction time of which was reduced from three to two years. Kovalevskaya cited blatant facts of irresponsibility and hack-work: for example, in 1985, suppliers did not deliver 2,358 tons of metal structures. And what was delivered was most often defective. 326 tons of slotted coating for the storage of spent nuclear fuel came with a defect from the Volzhsky plant of metal structures. About 220 tons of defective columns were sent by the Kashinsky plant of metal structures.

Imagine if a fourth block was also under construction, which caught fire and collapsed.

Lyubov Kovalevskaya is a journalist of the Pripyat newspaper, a talented poetess. From her memoirs: “I was not accused of anything after the article came out ... She wrote about careerism, the struggle for a position - the best specialists left the construction site for the administration, where the salary was higher, whole dynasties worked, nepotism flourished, the moral climate at the station was difficult.

Presenter 1 And now ... two powerful shocks shook the station building, the lights went out, everything plunged into clouds of steam and dust, reinforced concrete blocks lay everywhere.

And the city was asleep. It was a warm April night, one of the best nights of the year, when the leaves suddenly appear in a green mist on the trees.

The city of Pripyat was asleep, Ukraine was asleep, the whole country was asleep, not yet aware of the great misfortune that had come to our land.

Presenter 2 Here is what the American businessman A. Hammer said to the author of the story: “I have just returned from Chernobyl. It made such an impression on me that it is difficult for me to speak. I saw a whole city - fifty thousand people - and not a single person. Everything is empty... I would like every person to be here to see what I saw. Then no one would talk about nuclear weapons. Then everyone would know that this is the suicide of the whole world, and everyone would understand that we must destroy nuclear weapons.”

Presenter 1 For all those who were directly or indirectly involved in the tragedy of Chernobyl, time seemed to split into two unequal parts: before April 26, 1986 and after, before the war and after. People who survived the Chernobyl tragedy said so: it was before the war.

Presenter 2 Fate has given us the opportunity to look beyond the edge of the night, the night that will come if atomic warheads start to explode. The Chernobyl accident presented mankind with a number of new - not only scientific or technical - but also psychological problems. It is very difficult for consciousness to come to terms with that absurd situation when deadly danger it has no taste, color and smell, and is measured only by special devices, which, by the way, were not available at the time of the accident or they were not ready for work.

Presenter 1 Yuri Shcherbak wrote: “I wanted the truth to be preserved. How many interesting human destinies, how many unknown heroes!”

And after all, there was something to tell about the very first and difficult stage, about the construction of the sarcophagus, about the search for scientists and engineers, about the construction in the Kiev region in as soon as possible 52 new villages for the evacuees and, of course, about the selfless work of firefighters, doctors, pilots and many other services.

The evacuation of Chernobyl and the villages of the region was delayed for an even longer period - eight days. Until May 2, none of the highest leaders of the republic visited the site of the accident. Why, then, are people vested with power, great privileges, but even greater moral responsibility, accustomed to being in sight on days of celebrations and anniversaries - why did they not share their misfortune with their people, why those few kilometers turned out to be so insurmountable for them, what separates Kyiv from Chernobyl?

Why such moral callousness in relation to their fellow countrymen? - wrote Yuri Shcherbak.

Presenter 2 Pripyat doctors, heads of the medical unit, who knew about the difficult radiation situation, did not utter a word, waiting for instructions from above. Subservience, servility, fear of losing a profitable position “drowned in their souls loyalty to the Hippocratic oath - an oath that is the highest moral sign for doctors.”

He put it down and says: “Whatever you want, then do it.” Was given potassium iodine. Himself, in a simple white coat, in a gauze mask. No overalls, no respirators. After some time he felt the same symptoms. But he had the strength to take potassium iodine to the hostel with his own, distribute it to his neighbors, ordered to close the windows, not to let the children out.

Literature teacher Meanwhile, people from different countries of the world, for whom universal morality and conscience are the measure of actions, hurried to lend a helping hand to the victims of the accident.

A white Boeing 727 with American businessman Armand Hammer landed at the Borispol airport near Kiev. He was accompanied by Robert Gale, a well-known American specialist in the field of bone marrow transplantation, professor at the University of California, head of the clinic, chairman of the International Organization for Bone Marrow Transplantation. He arrived with three children and his wife.

Presenter 1 In an interview with Professor R. Gale, the question was asked: “What feelings guided you when you decided to go to the Soviet Union?” To which an answer was given that can serve as a reproach to officials from the Ministry of Health and those doctors who forgot about the Hippocratic oath: “First of all, I am a doctor, and I know about the possible consequences of such an accident. So I felt it necessary to offer my help. As a member of the medical profession, political differences do not concern me. Our first duty is to save people, to help them.”

What is this if not a lesson in mercy, professional honesty?

Literature teacher Unfortunately, the officials remained deaf to the cry of the Ukrainian writer. In the days when work was underway to eliminate the consequences of the accident, when thousands of people spared no effort and health, an inhuman order of the main department of the Ministry of Health appeared: to classify information about the accident, to classify information about the results of treatment, to classify information about the degree of radioactive damage to personnel involved in the elimination of consequences accidents.

Presenter 2 “... One of the most painful questions of the entire Chernobyl epic: the timeliness and quality of measures to protect people from the consequences of the accident,” wrote Y. Shcherbak.

And high-ranking officials from the first days after the accident lied to the public, concealed the size of the radioactive substances released by the exploded reactor, and underestimated the level of radiation in the vicinity of the station. In the conclusion of the commission on the causes of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the total release of fission products was 3.5% of the total amount of radionuclides in the reactor at the time of the accident, and indeed “about 120 tons of fuel were thrown out of the destroyed reactor, with its load equal to 180 tons, that is, 70 %, not 3.5!”

In the zone of increased radiation in some regions of Ukraine and Belarus there were 12 schools, where 2200 students studied, two thirds of all schoolchildren in the region; there are 10 out of 15 preschool institutions. And only four years later the issue of resettlement was resolved.

Shcherbak, who was one of the first to ring the ecological bell and filled the world with the sounds of pain and anger, alarm and warning, brought to us the voices of those who took upon themselves the deadly arrows of radiation, who saved millions of lives who is no longer among us.

Speaking at the Congress of Deputies, Y. Shcherbak showed the audience and millions of viewers a photograph of a foal born in the Zhytomyr region - a mutant with eight legs - a terrible consequence of the Chernobyl accident.

This is the price of laxity, bureaucratic carelessness and moral uncleanliness.

There are already types of cracks in it, in places they are so wide that a bird can fly through them. The risk of another nuclear catastrophe is great.

“In the deserted Pripyat, we went to the central guard post of the city. The police officer on duty was sitting at the alarm station. In the next room, the head of the patrol scolded the sergeant for something. Everything was so ordinary. A bunch of keys hung on a plywood shield in front of the attendant. The name of the street - and a yellow bunch of entrance keys to the houses. By the number of keys, you can understand which street has more houses, which has fewer.

So, I would not like to have bundles of keys from empty and abandoned countries hanging on the central point of the Martian protection of the Earth. I don’t want the key to my land to gleam somewhere in the common bundle called “Europe” ....” And I think, guys, each of you will subscribe to his words.

My reflections

about the little problems of my village.

My grandmother, in the village, has a small, cozy house. It was bought when my brother and I were still very young, and we tried to spend all holidays and weekends there.

This is a very beautiful, picturesque place. It has its own merits, which I was happy to tell all the guests of our village, our house. But, in addition to the advantages and features,

as I later realized, this fertile land has serious problems, which become more and more over time.

Our village is located not far from a small well-known town near Moscow, sung by Chekhov and left its mark on the life of Tchaikovsky. It is separated from it by a dense coniferous forest dominated by pines. Walking the dogs, or just walking with friends, we often visit this forest to breathe in the special clean coniferous air, pick mushrooms, play “war” with cones, “Cossack robbers”. One thing upsets - we always stumble upon heaps of garbage scattered throughout the forest. In several places, there are signs with such inscriptions: "Keep the forest clean" or "Take away your garbage." But this does not help much: the garbage in the forest is not particularly reduced. In addition, trees were cut down earlier, and the forest began to thin out. Now it’s good, they are not cut down, though new ones are not planted.

Near the forest there is another local attraction - a chain of mounds, which all the villagers call "bumps". I was told that they were formed as a result of the construction of a military base nearby, for which a foundation pit was dug, and the dumped heaps of sand and earth were overgrown with grass and shrubs, and so the “bumps” appeared. The guys told me a lot of “terrible stories” about this unfinished military base, “military commissar”, as they call it, one of which is that radioactive substances were brought to this base. I did not believe, although I think it is possible. It is not known what function this military base served, and in general, whether this structure was any kind of base. I saw what this base looked like originally, before the scrap collectors began to come there: it had heavy, large doors with twisting handles, like in a submarine, there were thick walls sheathed with metal and, in my opinion, capable of protecting against radiation, on the floor - hatches filled with rainwater.
